Here are several articles I wrote for this day, as well as a report on our work for the past year:
1. CNN.com article on “One Year Later” here.
2. Huffington Post article on despair and hope here.
3. A radio interview on NPR’s “The Story” here.
4. A report on our past year’s work in Haiti Partners here.
5. In the Washington Post, a prayer for the day here.
It’s a heartbreaking day to look back at what happened a year ago in Haiti–and during the year since. A day for silence, reflection, prayer, and working to do what we can.
Hi Kent,
I traveled to Haiti 6 months ago with a group that built 2 houses for families who lost everything. I read your book, Through the Eye of the Needle, as I prepared to go (& while we were there). I was so encouraged by your work there & by your courage to follow God’s calling. I was also amused by your stories of working with the builders & the antics involved, in the midst of our own antics with foremen on site in Petite Goave, Haiti. The similarities were uncanny. Anyway, I can’t help but ache for Haiti today & am so glad that there are groups like yours that do not give up. Thank you!
Here is my own post today, on Remembering The People We Met in Haiti: http://wp.me/pOdsW-bn

Hi, I “met” you through Chri´s blog. And it was really good to find out your work in Haiti. I sent an email to Haiti Partners cause I wanted to know a bit more about the work the organisation was doing there but got no answer back, so quite nice to be able to read the report and some articles about all the work here in your blog.
Thanks
